Description

A creamy, savory slow cooker dip inspired by classic cheeseburger flavors, perfect for game day gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound (450 g) lean ground beef
1 small yellow onion, finely diced (about ½ cup / 75 g)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
8 ounces (225 g) cream cheese, softened
1 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup (60 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
2 tablespoons (30 ml) ketchup
1 tablespoon (15 ml) yellow mustard
2 tablespoons (30 g) sweet pickle relish
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ cup (40 g) diced dill pickles (optional topping)
¼ cup (25 g) shredded lettuce (optional topping)
2 tablespoons (20 g) finely diced white onion (optional topping)

Instructions

In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound (450 g) ground beef with ½ cup (75 g) diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease.

Stir in 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.

In a bowl, whisk together ½ cup (120 ml) mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) ketchup, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) yellow mustard, 2 tablespoons (30 g) sweet pickle relish, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon onion powder.

Transfer beef to a greased slow cooker. Add cubed cream cheese, shredded cheddar, shredded mozzarella, and prepared sauce.

Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours or HIGH for 1 hour, stirring occasionally until smooth and melted.

Garnish with diced pickles, shredded lettuce, and diced onion before serving.

Notes

For best texture, use lean ground beef and soften cream cheese before adding. Keep warm in the slow cooker on the “Warm” setting during serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently before serving.
