Ingredients

1 French or Italian loaf (about 12 inches long)

½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened

4 large garlic cloves, finely minced

1½ cups (150 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup (50 g) grated cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

Slice the bread lengthwise and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.

Spread the garlic butter evenly over the bread.

Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top, watching closely.

Garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
