Description

A creamy, fresh appetizer inspired by classic Italian bruschetta, perfect for parties and casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 g) cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup (120 g) sour cream

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 cups (300 g) cherry tomatoes, finely chopped

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup (10 g) fresh basil leaves, finely chopped

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 baguette, sliced and toasted


Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

  • Spread the mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish.

  • In another bowl, combine tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic glaze, garlic, basil, salt, and black pepper.

  • Spoon the tomato mixture over the creamy base.
