A creamy, comforting slow cooker chicken dish that requires minimal prep and delivers rich flavor with every bite.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 packet (28 grams) dry Italian-style seasoning mix

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 225 grams cream cheese, softened

  • 1 can (300 grams) condensed cream-style soup

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoons water


Instructions

  • Lightly grease the crock pot and place the chicken breasts inside.

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, condensed soup, chicken broth, seasoning mix, garlic, and black pepper until smooth.

  • Pour the mixture over the chicken, covering evenly.

  • Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

  • Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving.

  • Continue cooking until the sauce thickens and serve warm.

Notes

For best texture, use softened cream cheese and thawed chicken. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables for a complete meal.
