2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 packet (28 grams) dry Italian-style seasoning mix

1/2 cup chicken broth

225 grams cream cheese, softened

1 can (300 grams) condensed cream-style soup

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water
Instructions

Lightly grease the crock pot and place the chicken breasts inside.

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, condensed soup, chicken broth, seasoning mix, garlic, and black pepper until smooth.

Pour the mixture over the chicken, covering evenly.

Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving.

Continue cooking until the sauce thickens and serve warm.
Notes
For best texture, use softened cream cheese and thawed chicken. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables for a complete meal.
