Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 ounces / 170 g each)

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)
Instructions

Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Place salmon in the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and nearly cooked through.

Reduce heat to low, add butter, and allow it to melt.

Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30–40 seconds.

Add lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, and thyme. Spoon the sauce over the salmon for 1 minute.

Remove from heat and serve immediately.
