Description

A rich and comforting slow-cooked dish featuring tender beef bites and buttery garlic-infused potatoes, perfect for a cozy yet elegant dinner.


Ingredients

900 g (2 lbs) beef chuck, cut into bite-sized pieces

680 g (1.5 lbs) baby potatoes, halved

4 tablespoons (60 g) unsalted butter, melted

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 tablespoon olive oil

120 ml (1/2 cup) beef broth

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

Fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

Wash and halve the potatoes; cut beef into cubes.

Optional: Sear beef in olive oil until browned.

Add potatoes to slow cooker, then beef on top.

Mix butter, garlic, and seasonings; pour over ingredients.

Add beef broth.

Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.

Mix cornstarch and water; stir in during last 30 minutes.

Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Searing enhances flavor but is optional

Use waxy potatoes for best texture

Add vegetables for variation

Adjust seasoning based on preference
