Frozen beef meatballs – 900 g (2 lb)

BBQ sauce – 480 ml (2 cups)

Honey – 120 ml (½ cup)

Ketchup – 120 ml (½ cup)

Apple cider vinegar – 30 ml (2 tablespoons)

Smoked paprika – 2 teaspoons

Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon

Onion powder – 1 teaspoon

Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

Salt – ½ teaspoon

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, honey, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.

Place frozen meatballs into the crockpot.

Pour sauce over meatballs and gently stir to coat evenly.

Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours.

Stir once halfway through cooking and serve warm.
Notes

Keep warm in the crockpot for serving at parties.

Sauce thickens as it cools; add a splash of water if reheating.

Adjust sweetness or smokiness by varying the honey or BBQ sauce.
