Description

A slow-cooked, sweet and smoky dish perfect for gatherings, family meals, or easy entertaining.


Ingredients

    • Frozen beef meatballs – 900 g (2 lb)

    • BBQ sauce – 480 ml (2 cups)

    • Honey – 120 ml (½ cup)

    • Ketchup – 120 ml (½ cup)

    • Apple cider vinegar – 30 ml (2 tablespoons)

    • Smoked paprika – 2 teaspoons

    • Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon

    • Onion powder – 1 teaspoon

    • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

    • Salt – ½ teaspoon


Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, honey, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.

  • Place frozen meatballs into the crockpot.

  • Pour sauce over meatballs and gently stir to coat evenly.

  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours.

  • Stir once halfway through cooking and serve warm.

Notes

  • Keep warm in the crockpot for serving at parties.

  • Sauce thickens as it cools; add a splash of water if reheating.

  • Adjust sweetness or smokiness by varying the honey or BBQ sauce.
