Description

A bright and flavorful salmon dish featuring a glossy lemon honey glaze that balances sweetness and citrus perfectly.

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets – 4 fillets, about 170 g (6 oz) each

  • Honey – 80 ml (⅓ cup)

  • Fresh lemon juice – 60 ml (¼ cup)

  • Lemon zest – 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic cloves – 3 cloves, minced

  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

  • Salt – 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

  • Paprika – ½ teaspoon

  • Unsalted butter – 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh parsley – 2 tablespoons, chopped

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, and garlic.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes.

  • Flip the salmon, add butter, and pour the glaze over the fillets.

  • Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon until thickened.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
