Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners or lightly grease each cup.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.

In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Gradually stir in milk until the mixture is creamy.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix. Add optional nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
