Ingredients

2 large cucumbers (about 500 g), thinly sliced

1 teaspoon fine salt

120 g cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons plain Greek-style yogurt

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives

¼ teaspoon ground white pepper

8 slices soft sandwich bread

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Instructions

Sprinkle sliced cucumbers with salt and let drain for 15 minutes.

Rinse and pat cucumbers completely dry.

Mix cream cheese, yogurt, lemon juice, herbs, and pepper until smooth.

Fold cucumbers into the creamy mixture.

Butter bread slices lightly.
