Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Optional toppings: shaved chocolate, chopped nuts, or a light dusting of cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.

  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter. Stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.

  • Remove from heat and stir in the instant espresso powder, vanilla extract, and salt until fully incorporated.

  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle optional toppings if desired.

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. Cover loosely with plastic wrap while chilling.

  • Lift fudge from the pan using the parchment overhang and slice into squares with a sharp knife. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes
