Description

A tender, flavorful chicken dish marinated in creamy yogurt and aromatic spices, perfect for grilling, baking, or pan-searing.


Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts – 2 lb (900 g), boneless and skinless

  • Plain yogurt – 1½ cups (360 g)

  • Garlic cloves – 5 cloves, minced

  • Fresh ginger – 1 tablespoon (15 g), grated

  • Ground cumin – 2 teaspoons (4 g)

  • Ground coriander – 2 teaspoons (4 g)

  • Smoked paprika – 2 teaspoons (4 g)

  • Ground turmeric – 1 teaspoon (2 g)

  • Ground black pepper – 1 teaspoon (2 g)

  • Salt – 2 teaspoons (10 g)

  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons (30 ml)

  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons (30 ml)


Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, garlic, ginger, spices, salt, lemon juice, and olive oil.

  • Add chicken and coat thoroughly with the marinade.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  • Cook by grilling, baking at 400°F (200°C), or pan-searing until fully cooked.

  • Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
