Description

A quick and flavorful salmon dish coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze that tastes better than takeout.


Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets (skinless), 1 lb (450 g), cut into 1-inch cubes

  • Olive oil, 2 tablespoons

  • Salt, ¾ teaspoon

  • Black pepper, ½ teaspoon

  • Paprika, 1 teaspoon

  • Cornstarch, 1 tablespoon

  • Honey, ⅓ cup (80 ml)

  • Soy sauce, ¼ cup (60 ml)

  • Fresh garlic, 4 cloves, minced

  • Fresh ginger, 1 teaspoon, grated

  • Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon

  • Water, 2 tablespoons

  • Sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon

  • Green onions, 2 stalks, sliced


Instructions

  • Pat salmon cubes dry and toss with salt, pepper, paprika, and cornstarch.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear salmon until golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger briefly, then add honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and water.

  • Simmer sauce until slightly thickened, then return salmon to the pan and toss to coat.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
