Ingredients

3 cups cooked chicken breast, finely chopped or shredded (about 450 g)

1 cup dill pickles, finely diced (150 g)

1 cup celery, finely chopped (120 g)

½ cup red onion, finely diced (75 g)

¾ cup mayonnaise (180 g)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (15 g)

2 tablespoons dill pickle juice (30 ml)

½ teaspoon garlic powder (2 g)

½ teaspoon black pepper (2 g)

¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste (1 g)

½ cup crunchy crackers or crispy onion pieces, lightly crushed (30 g)

2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped (8 g)
Instructions

Combine chicken, dill pickles, celery, and red onion in a large bowl.

Whisk mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a separate bowl.

Add dressing to the chicken mixture and stir gently.

Fold in crunchy crackers or crispy onion pieces and fresh dill.

Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best texture, add crunchy ingredients just before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Adjust seasoning to taste after chilling.
