Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz / 170 g each)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)

  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth (120 ml)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (50 g)

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Season salmon fillets with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear salmon for 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

  • Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.

  • Stir in Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese.

  • Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.

  • Return salmon to the skillet and spoon sauce over the fillets.

  • Simmer for 2–3 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh salmon and avoid high heat when simmering the sauce.
