- Zest of 1 lemon
- 3 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined and fragrant. - Marinate the Drumsticks
Place the chicken drumsticks in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over them, ensuring all pieces are evenly coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, ideally 4–6 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor. - Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray. For crispier results, place a wire rack on the baking sheet. - Arrange the Drumsticks
Remove the drumsticks from the marinade and arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Leave space between each drumstick for even cooking. - Bake the Chicken
Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning the drumsticks halfway through cooking. Chicken is ready when the skin is golden brown and crisp, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). - Serve and Garnish
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after baking. Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs and lemon wedges before serving.
