Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh pineapple, diced (about 450 g)

  • 2 cups cucumber, sliced or chopped (about 300 g)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (30 ml)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped (about 5 g)

  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt (1.5 g)

  • Optional: 2 tablespoons thinly sliced red onion (20 g)


Instructions

  • Peel, core, and dice the fresh pineapple into evenly sized cubes.

  • Wash and slice the cucumber into half-moons or bite-size pieces.

  • Add the pineapple and cucumber to a large mixing bowl.

  • Sprinkle in the chopped mint and optional red onion.

  • Pour the fresh lime juice over the salad and add the salt.

  • Gently toss until all ingredients are evenly coated.

  • Let the salad rest for 5–10 minutes, then serve chilled or at room temperature.
