4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 680 g / 1.5 lb)

1 teaspoon salt (5 g)

½ teaspoon black pepper (1 g)

1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 g)

½ teaspoon paprika (1 g)

3 tablespoons olive oil (45 ml)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter (28 g)

6 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 cup chicken broth (240 ml)

1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (100 g)

½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (1 g)

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, 0.5 g)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (8 g)
Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet. Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.

Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.

Return chicken to the pan and simmer for a few minutes, spooning sauce over the top.
