Description

A simple, flavorful baked salmon recipe with garlic butter and lemon that’s perfect for quick, wholesome meals.


Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets – 4 fillets, about 150 g (5 oz) each

  • Unsalted butter – 60 g (4 tablespoons), melted

  • Garlic – 4 cloves, finely minced

  • Fresh lemon juice – 30 ml (2 tablespoons)

  • Lemon slices – from 1 lemon

  • Olive oil – 15 ml (1 tablespoon)

  • Salt – 5 g (1 teaspoon)

  • Black pepper – 2 g (½ teaspoon)

  • Paprika – 2 g (½ teaspoon)

  • Dried oregano or thyme – 2 g (½ teaspoon)

  • Fresh parsley – 15 g (¼ cup), chopped


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare a baking dish.

  • Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs.

  • Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the dish and drizzle with olive oil.

  • Brush generously with garlic butter and top with lemon slices.

  • Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes until flaky and cooked through.

  • Finish with remaining butter and fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust baking time based on fillet thickness.

  • Best served immediately for maximum juiciness.
