Ingredients

Salmon fillets – 4 fillets, about 150 g (5 oz) each

Unsalted butter – 60 g (4 tablespoons), melted

Garlic – 4 cloves, finely minced

Fresh lemon juice – 30 ml (2 tablespoons)

Lemon slices – from 1 lemon

Olive oil – 15 ml (1 tablespoon)

Salt – 5 g (1 teaspoon)

Black pepper – 2 g (½ teaspoon)

Paprika – 2 g (½ teaspoon)

Dried oregano or thyme – 2 g (½ teaspoon)

Fresh parsley – 15 g (¼ cup), chopped
Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and prepare a baking dish.

Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs.

Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the dish and drizzle with olive oil.

Brush generously with garlic butter and top with lemon slices.

Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes until flaky and cooked through.

Finish with remaining butter and fresh parsley before serving.
