Description

A flavorful and satisfying dish featuring tender salmon fillets seasoned with bold spices and filled with a rich, creamy spinach and parmesan mixture. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets, skinless, 6 ounces (170 g) each

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 cups fresh spinach, chopped (about 120 g)

  • 4 ounces (115 g) cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (about 50 g)

  • 2 tablespoons milk or light cream

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add spinach and cook until wilted.

  • Lower heat and stir in cream cheese, milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in parmesan cheese.

  • Pat salmon dry, brush with olive oil, and coat evenly with the spice mixture.

  • Cut a pocket into each salmon fillet and fill with the creamy spinach mixture.

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Cook salmon for 4 to 5 minutes per side until blackened and cooked through.

  • Let rest briefly before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne pepper to control spice level.

  • Do not overfill the salmon to prevent leakage during cooking.

  • Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
