Ingredients

  • Frozen tater tots – 900 g (2 lb)

  • Shredded cheddar cheese – 240 g (2 cups)

  • Shredded mozzarella cheese – 120 g (1 cup)

  • Cooked ground chicken or beef – 450 g (1 lb)

  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

  • Paprika – 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon

  • Onion powder – 1 teaspoon

  • Salt – 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

  • Diced tomatoes – 150 g (1 cup)

  • Sliced green onions – 30 g (¼ cup)

  • Sliced jalapeños (optional) – 30 g (¼ cup)

  • Sour cream – 120 g (½ cup)

  • Guacamole or mashed avocado – 240 g (1 cup)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Spread tater tots evenly, drizzle with olive oil, and season with spices.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.

  • Top with cooked meat and shredded cheese.

  • Bake an additional 8–10 minutes until cheese melts.

  • Add fresh toppings and serve immediately.
