A simple, flavorful, handheld twist on classic tacos, perfect for quick dinners, snacks, or entertaining.
Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) ground beef or ground chicken

1 packet (1 oz / 28 g) taco seasoning

1/3 cup (80 ml) water

8 mozzarella cheese sticks

1 can (13.8 oz / 390 g) refrigerated pizza dough

1 tbsp (14 g) melted butter
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder
-
1/2 tsp onion powder
-
1/2 tsp ground cumin
-
1/2 tsp chili powder
-
Salt to taste

Optional dips: salsa, guacamole, sour cream
Instructions

Cook ground beef or chicken in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess liquid.

Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened.

Roll out pizza dough and cut into 8 rectangles.

Place one cheese stick and a spoonful of taco meat on each piece of dough.

Roll tightly, sealing edges well.

Place on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.

Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and salt on top.

Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.

Cool slightly and serve with dips.
Notes
Seal the dough tightly to prevent cheese from leaking. You may substitute other dough types such as biscuit or crescent dough. Low-moisture mozzarella works best for clean melting.
