Description

A rich yet approachable pasta dish that combines tender lobster, silky butter sauce, and perfectly cooked noodles for an elegant meal at home.


Ingredients

  • Lobster meat – 12 oz (340 g), cooked and chopped

  • Pasta – 12 oz (340 g) linguine or spaghetti

  • Unsalted butter – 6 tablespoons (85 g)

  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic – 4 cloves, minced

  • Heavy cream – 1 cup (240 ml)

  • Grated Parmesan cheese – ½ cup (50 g)

  • Fresh parsley – ¼ cup (15 g), chopped

  • Lemon zest – from 1 lemon

  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons (30 ml)

  • Salt – 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon


Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup (240 ml) pasta water and drain.

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook briefly.

  • Pour in cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 3–4 minutes.

  • Add lobster and remaining butter, cooking gently until warmed.

  • Toss in pasta, adding pasta water as needed.

  • Stir in Parmesan, lemon zest, lemon juice, and parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use freshly cooked lobster and serve immediately. Adjust lemon and seasoning to taste for a brighter or richer finish.
