1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Pasta and Sauce
-
12 ounces fettuccine pasta
-
4 tablespoons butter
-
4 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 ½ cups heavy cream
-
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ cup reserved pasta water (as needed for consistency)
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
-
Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
-
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and let rest before slicing.
-
Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
-
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add minced garlic. Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
-
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
-
Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until smooth and creamy.
-
Toss the cooked pasta with the Alfredo sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for a silky texture.
-
Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
-
Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best smooth and creamy sauce.
-
Add steamed broccoli, peas, or spinach for extra nutrition and color.
-
If the sauce thickens too much upon standing, add a splash of milk or pasta water to loosen it.
