Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1 ½ cups sliced mushrooms

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • ¼ cup water

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  • Prepare broccoli and mushrooms and set aside.

  • Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl.

  • Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.

  • Stir in broccoli and cook until bright and slightly tender.

  • Add mushrooms and cook until softened and lightly browned.

  • Pour in sauce and stir until thickened.

  • Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes.

  • Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes
