A comforting, hearty pasta casserole inspired by classic pizza flavors, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.
Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) penne or rotini pasta

4 cups (960 ml) tomato pasta sauce

1 cup (240 ml) pizza sauce

2 cups (300 g) cooked diced chicken or turkey sausage alternative

1 cup (110 g) sliced black olives
-
1 cup (130 g) diced bell peppers

1 cup (120 g) diced onions

2 cups (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp dried oregano
-
1 tsp dried basil
-
½ tsp garlic powder
-
Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.

Sauté onions and bell peppers in olive oil.

Add cooked chicken or turkey sausage alternative.

Stir in pasta sauce, pizza sauce, herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.

Add pasta to sauce mixture and combine.

Layer half the mixture in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Sprinkle half the cheese.

Add remaining pasta and top with remaining cheese.

Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly.

Rest 10 minutes before serving.
