This Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Fudge is the perfect treat for any moment when you want something sweet, comforting, and incredibly delicious. It’s ideal for cozy evenings, gifting to friends, or serving at special gatherings. The combination of rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter creates a nostalgic flavor that many of us grew up loving, making this fudge a crowd-pleasing favorite. With a simple preparation process and just a few pantry staples, this recipe brings joy to both beginners and experienced home cooks. It’s a delightful dessert to whip up when you want something that looks impressive yet requires minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continually until melted and smooth.

  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

  • Place the peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl and warm for about 20–30 seconds to soften.

  • Pour half of the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan.

  • Spoon half of the softened peanut butter over the chocolate in small dollops, then gently swirl with a knife or skewer to create a marble pattern.

  • Repeat layering with remaining chocolate and peanut butter, swirling again for a beautiful finish.

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.

  • Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper and slice into squares.

Notes

  • For a stronger peanut butter flavor, add a few extra spoonfuls to the swirl or drizzle melted peanut butter on top.

  • Use a clean, sharp knife for cutting; warm the blade for extra smooth slices.

  • Crunchy peanut butter can be used to add texture, though the swirl pattern may look slightly different.

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or refrigerate for longer freshness.

  • This fudge also freezes well; individually wrap pieces and store for up to 3 months.
