Cheese ravioli – 24 ounces (680 g)

Ground beef or ground chicken – 1 pound (450 g)

Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

Onion – 1 medium, chopped

Garlic – 3 cloves, minced

Marinara sauce – 4 cups (960 ml)

Italian seasoning – 2 teaspoons

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

Ricotta cheese – 1 cup (240 g)

Shredded mozzarella cheese – 3 cups (340 g)

Grated Parmesan cheese – ½ cup (50 g)

Fresh basil or parsley – 2 tablespoons, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onion until softened, then add garlic and cook briefly.

Add ground beef or ground chicken and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Lightly grease the crockpot. Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom.

Layer ravioli, sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella. Repeat until ingredients are used.

Finish with sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan on top.

Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
