Description

These wraps are a quick, flavorful, and satisfying meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights, casual lunches, or even a picnic. Tender garlic-seasoned chicken, melted cheese, and fresh crisp vegetables wrapped in soft tortillas make each bite irresistible. This recipe is inspired by Mediterranean flavors and classic comfort food, offering a delicious and customizable dish everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large chicken breasts, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 small cucumber, julienned

  • 1 small carrot, shredded

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine chicken with olive oil, garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through and lightly golden. Remove and set aside.

  • Lightly warm the flour tortillas in a skillet or microwave for 20–30 seconds.

  • Lay a tortilla flat, spread mayonnaise or Greek yogurt if using, and layer spinach, bell pepper, cucumber, carrot, cooked chicken, and shredded cheeses.

  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly from the bottom to form a secure wrap. Repeat for remaining tortillas.

  • Optional: For melted cheese, return wraps to the skillet over low heat 1–2 minutes per side until cheese begins to melt.

  • Slice wraps in half and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Substitute vegetables based on preference: avocado, lettuce, or cherry tomatoes work well.

  • Cheese alternatives: pepper jack, provolone, or a mix of your favorites.

  • Add a spicy kick with cayenne or jalapeños.

  • Prepare ahead and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours; add cheese or sauce before serving for best texture.
