Description

A warm, creamy dip inspired by the bold tang and crunch of classic fried pickles, finished with a golden breadcrumb topping.


Ingredients

  • Cream cheese – 8 oz (225 g), softened

  • Sour cream – 1 cup (240 g)

  • Dill pickles – 1 cup (150 g), finely chopped and drained

  • Pickle juice – 2 tablespoons

  • Shredded mozzarella cheese – 1 cup (100 g)

  • Shredded cheddar cheese – ½ cup (50 g)

  • Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon

  • Onion powder – 1 teaspoon

  • Paprika – ½ teaspoon

  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

  • Breadcrumbs – ¾ cup (45 g)

  • Butter, melted – 3 tablespoons

  • Dried dill – 1 teaspoon


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.

  • Stir in pickles, pickle juice, cheeses, and seasonings.

  • Spread mixture into a baking dish.

  • Combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, dried dill, and paprika.

  • Sprinkle topping evenly over dip.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

  • Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Drain pickles thoroughly to avoid excess moisture. Serve warm for best texture and flavor.
