Description

A light and crispy dessert made from angel cake cubes coated in warm cinnamon sugar, perfect for sharing and enjoying fresh from the oven.


Ingredients

  • 1 prepared angel food cake (1012 ounces), cut into 1½-inch cubes

  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200 g)

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (56 g), melted

  • 2 tablespoons neutral cooking oil


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Place angel cake cubes in a large bowl.

  • Drizzle melted butter and oil over the cubes and gently toss to coat.

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.

  • Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the cake cubes and toss lightly.

  • Spread cubes evenly on the baking sheet.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp.

  • Toss warm bites with remaining cinnamon sugar and serve slightly warm.
