Description

A rich and comforting one-pan meal featuring tender shrimp, fresh spinach, and a creamy garlic sauce perfect for any night of the week.


Ingredients

500 grams (1 lb) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

200 grams (7 oz) fresh spinach

1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream

1/2 cup (120 ml) chicken or vegetable broth

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 cup (50 grams) grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon butter


Instructions

Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook briefly.

Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.

Melt butter in the same skillet, add broth, then stir in cream and seasonings. Simmer until slightly thickened.

Add spinach and cook until wilted.

Return shrimp to the skillet and stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice.

Cook for 2 more minutes, then serve immediately.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp to avoid a rubbery texture

Adjust seasoning and spice level to taste

Serve immediately for best texture and flavor

Add a splash of broth when reheating to maintain creaminess
