Ingredients

Chicken breast fillets – 700 g (1.5 lb), sliced

Heavy cream – 240 ml (1 cup)

Basil pesto – 120 g (½ cup)

Chicken broth – 120 ml (½ cup)

Grated Parmesan cheese – 60 g (½ cup)

Black pepper – ½ teaspoon

Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon

Red pepper flakes – ¼ teaspoon (optional)

Instructions

Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Sauté garlic in the same skillet until fragrant.

Add chicken broth and simmer briefly.

Stir in heavy cream and pesto, letting the sauce thicken gently.
