Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 chicken breasts (450 g), cut into pieces
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
250 g mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream
1 cup (240 ml) chicken broth
1/2 cup (50 g) Parmesan cheese
1 cup (120 g) mozzarella cheese
500 g tortellini
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons parsley (optional)
Instructions
Cook tortellini according to package instructions and drain.
Heat olive oil and cook seasoned chicken until done; set aside.
Sauté onion, mushrooms, and garlic in butter and oil.
Add chicken broth and simmer briefly.
Stir in cream and Parmesan until smooth.
Return chicken and add tortellini; mix well.
Add mozzarella and let it melt into the sauce.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh tortellini for best texture
Adjust sauce thickness with broth or pasta water
Add vegetables like spinach for variation
