Description

A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken, caramelized onions, and a velvety cream cheese sauce.


Ingredients

Scale

12 oz (340 g) spaghetti
2 cups (300 g) cooked chicken breast
1 large onion, sliced
2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
3 tbsp (42 g) butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
¾ cup (180 ml) milk
4 oz (113 g) cream cheese
1 cup (100 g) parmesan cheese
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning


Instructions

Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.

Cook chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until done. Set aside.

Melt butter in a skillet and sauté onions for 8–10 minutes until golden. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.

Add heavy cream and milk. Stir in cream cheese and whisk until smooth.

Add parmesan and season with salt and pepper.

Combine spaghetti and chicken with sauce. Add pasta water if needed.

Garnish and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.
Add pasta water gradually to control sauce consistency.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
