Description

A bold and flavorful steak bite recipe featuring tender seared steak tossed in rich, herb-infused cowboy butter.


Ingredients

  • pounds sirloin steak or ribeye steak, cut into -inch cubes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ cup unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes


Instructions

  • Pat steak cubes dry and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • Lower heat to medium, melt butter in the same pan, and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

  • Stir in mustard, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, thyme, and red pepper flakes.

  • Return steak bites to the pan and toss in the butter sauce for 1–2 minutes. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use a hot pan and avoid overcrowding.

  • Adjust red pepper flakes to control heat.
