1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 cup dried cherries, chopped

1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
-
Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal, and lightly grease with butter.
-
Toast the sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden and fragrant, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Set aside to cool.
-
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until smooth and fully melted, about 5–7 minutes.
-
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
-
Fold in chopped dried cherries and toasted almonds evenly.
-
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading evenly and smoothing the top with a spatula.
-
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results, until firm.
-
Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into 1-inch squares. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
