Ingredients

4 slices sturdy sandwich bread (about 30 g per slice)

4 oz (113 g) cream cheese, softened

1 cup (113 g) shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup (113 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

2 fresh jalapeños, finely diced (about 40 g)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp smoked paprika

Salt to taste

2 tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter, softened
Instructions

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt until smooth.

Spread the mixture evenly over two slices of bread and top with remaining slices.

Butter the outside of each sandwich.

Grill in a skillet over medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and melted.

Rest briefly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust jalapeño quantity to control spice level. Cook slowly over medium-low heat for the best melt and crisp texture.
