Description

A comforting, hearty burrito filled with golden tater tots and rich melted cheese, perfect for quick meals or relaxed gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 500 g (4 cups) frozen tater tots

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 cups (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup (120 g) sour cream

  • ¼ cup (60 g) milk

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 6 large flour tortillas (25 cm / 10 inches)


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Bake the seasoned tater tots for 25–30 minutes until crispy.

  • Melt butter in a saucepan, then stir in sour cream and milk. Add cheeses and stir until smooth.

  • Warm tortillas and fill each with crispy tater tots and cheese sauce.

  • Roll into burritos and toast lightly in a skillet until golden.

  • Serve hot.

Notes

For best results, assemble and serve immediately. Add vegetables or herbs for extra flavor, and toast the burritos for added texture.
