These hearty sliders combine seasoned beef, sautéed vegetables, and melted cheese for a comforting, Western-inspired dish that’s perfect for sharing.
Ingredients

Ground beef – 1½ pounds

Yellow onion, finely diced – 1 large (about 1 cup)

Green bell pepper, diced – 1 medium (about ¾ cup)

Garlic cloves, minced – 3 cloves

Tomato paste – 2 tablespoons

Worcestershire-style sauce (non-alcoholic) – 1 tablespoon

Smoked paprika – 1 teaspoon

Ground cumin – 1 teaspoon

Chili powder – 1 teaspoon

Salt – 1½ teaspoons

Black pepper – 1 teaspoon

Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

Slider buns – 12 rolls

Cheddar cheese, shredded – 2 cups

Monterey Jack cheese, shredded – 1½ cups

Unsalted butter, melted – 4 tablespoons

Garlic powder – ½ teaspoon

Onion powder – ½ teaspoon

Dried parsley – 1 teaspoon
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper for 4–5 minutes, then add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire-style sauce, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place bottom halves of buns in a greased baking dish.

Spread beef mixture evenly over buns and top with shredded cheeses.

Place top buns on and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley.

Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 8–10 minutes until golden and melted.

Rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
