Description

This Buffalo Chicken Dip is the ultimate party favorite — creamy, cheesy, and loaded with bold, tangy buffalo flavor. Perfect for game day, holidays, or casual gatherings, this dip delivers the taste of classic buffalo wings in a simple, scoopable form. Serve it warm with celery sticks, tortilla chips, or toasted bread for a crowd-pleasing appetizer that disappears fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (adjust to spice preference)

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 green onions, finely chopped (optional, for garnish)

  • Celery sticks, tortilla chips, or toasted baguette slices (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium-sized baking dish.

  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo wing sauce. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  • Add shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, and half of the cheddar cheese to the mixture. Stir until fully combined.

  • Spread the dip evenly into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the edges are bubbling and the cheese is fully melted.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, use less buffalo sauce or add more ranch dressing.

  • You can assemble the dip ahead of time, refrigerate it, and bake just before serving.

  • Substitute rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.

  • For extra flavor, try adding a handful of spinach or using a mix of mozzarella and pepper jack cheese.

  • Keep the dip warm during parties by transferring it to a slow cooker on the “warm” setting.
