Description

This Air Fryer Maple Glazed Chicken Breast is the perfect weeknight dinner that’s quick, flavorful, and family-approved. Sweet maple glaze, a touch of Dijon mustard, and warm spices create a juicy, tender chicken breast with a slightly caramelized finish. Using the air fryer makes it fast, easy, and mess-free, turning a simple chicken dinner into something special. Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a meal the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley or thyme

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.

  • Brush each chicken breast generously with the prepared maple glaze, coating both sides.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.

  • Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  • Optional: Brush an additional layer of maple glaze on chicken immediately after cooking for extra shine.

  • Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or thyme and serve.

Notes

  • For even cooking, choose chicken breasts of similar size.

  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to allow proper air circulation.

  • Brush extra glaze during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking for deeper caramelization.

  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
